Greater Vernon Water - VSS to McMechan Phase 1 Water Main Installation

Greater Vernon Water is installing a new 600mm HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) water main via directional drilling method through Lakeview Park (200m) as part of Phase 1 of the Vernon Secondary School to McMechan Reservoir water main installation project.

17th Street between 30th Avenue and 28th Avenue will be closed, with "local traffic only" access from 28th Avenue.

17th Street between 32nd Avenue and 35th Avenue will be single-lane alternating starting at the intersection of 17th St. and 32nd Ave. for approximately 100m.

Hours of work will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturday work will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm if worked.  Some delays may be experienced.
