Kingfisher Community Protection Plan

As a result of the White Rock Lake Wildfire, a Community Structure Protection Plan is being developed for the Community of Kingfisher. This will be an excellent resource for responding agencies (local fire departments etc.) and the communities themselves. 

The project will be a partnership between RDNO staff and a professional consultant. The report will include:

• a community overview
• roles and responsibilities
• identification of water fill sites, structures at risk, community challenges and safe zones
• fuel maps from BC Wildfire
• contact lists
• an equipment review
• communication and evacuation plan
