The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) manages the Silver Star Water Utility (SSW) in Electoral Area “C”. The Silver Star Mountain community obtains its water from a series of wells and two surface sources. The water treatment plant commissioned in 2012 provides both ultraviolet and chlorine disinfection, and the system serves approximately 800 customers.
