Facility description
The Okanagan Rail Trail follows along the old CN Rail line, providing sweeping views of Kalamalka Lake, running along past Wood Lake and through to Kelowna. There are four owner jurisdictions - the City of Kelowna, the District of Lake Country, Okanagan Indian Band and the Regional District of North Okanagan. Each jurisdiction is responsible for the operations and maintenance of trail sections that fall within their boundaries. Dogs are permitted on leash only.
Parking and access points for the RDNO owned and maintained section of this trails can be found:
- 8203 Westkal Road (trail access, parking, and washroom facility)
- Kekuli Bay Provincial Park (trail access, parking, and washroom facility)
- College Way (access on College Way, parking along Kalamalka Lake Road)
