The Regional District of North Okanagan’s administrative office at 9848 Aberdeen Road, Coldstream, will be closed on Friday, September 30th to observe the second annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
RDNO Solid Waste Facilities will remain open with regular hours.
The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.
