REGIONAL DISTRICT OF NORTH OKANAGAN – PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that a Delegated Public Hearing covering Electoral Areas "B" and "C" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2934, 2022 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2935, 2022 will be held in the Board Room of the Regional District of North Okanagan at 9848 Aberdeen Road, Coldstream, BC on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2934 proposes to amend the Electoral Areas “B” and “C” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2626, 2014 by changing the land use designation of a 0.095 ha portion of the property legally described as That Part of DL 4679, ODYD, Lying North of the Production Westerly of the South Boundary of DL 4678, ODYD and located at 5649 Cosens Bay Road, Electoral Area “B” from Large Holding to Commercial and by changing the land use designation of a 0.655 ha portion of the same property from Commercial to Large Holding.
Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2935, 2022 proposes to rezone a 0.095 ha portion of the same property from the Large Holding (L.H) zone to the Recreation Commercial (C.5) zone and a 0.655 ha portion of the same property from the Recreation Commercial zone (C.5) zone to the Large Holding (L.H) zone. If approved, the applicant proposes to establish four new cabin sites within the proposed C.5 zoned area.
