Notice from the City of Vernon:
To accommodate decommissioning the old water main and switching over to the new water main, customers listed in the above area will be without water starting on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please make necessary arrangements to have a short-term water supply stored before this work starts. While every effort will be made to complete the project by 4:00 pm on Tuesday July 4th, it may be necessary to have the water off longer.
When your water service resumes you may experience turbidity in the water. If this occurs please run your cold water taps for up to 5 minutes to clear your lines.
