Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) advises customers that Francis Street will be closed on Monday, April 8 while crews tie in to a water main in the area. A detour will be set up to use East Vernon Road. For the safety of the workers and public, please slow down, and obey traffic control personnel and signage in the area.
To accommodate the tie in to the water main, customers highlighted on the map will be without water on Monday, April 8 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is suggested that you store a short term water supply for your needs such as cooking and toilet use before the work begins.
Once water has been restored, you may experience some cloudiness and/or air in the water. Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap is preferred.
