Water service will be temporarily shut-off on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 7:30 am to 7:00pm, 2024 at the following location: 24th Ave between addresses 2401B 39th Street and 3601 24th Ave, including 3610 25th Ave; AND 36th St, south of 24th Ave

The actual duration of the shut-down will depend on the conditions encountered and we apologize for the inconvenience during this disturbance.
Once the work has been completed, your water service will be restored. Please note that you may experience reduced water pressure, discolouration of the water, and/or air. Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap is preferred.
In conjunction with Interior Health, Greater Vernon Water has placed the affected area on a Precautionary Water Quality Advisory (WQA), until Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 5:00 pm. without further notice from the RDNO.
Very young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are advised to exercise caution and can choose to boil their water for at least one (1) minute when preparing any food, drinking, washing fruits & vegetables, making beverages or ice or when brushing teeth.
