The Kalamalka Lake Paddle Trail is a scenic paddling route operated by the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) and the District of Lake Country. Spanning 22 km, the trail starts near Kalamalka Provincial Park heading north toward Coldstream, before turning south, running the length of Kalamalka Lake adjacent to the Okanagan Rail Trail This trail offers paddlers a unique perspective of the surrounding natural beauty. Key access points are available throughout Coldstream, Kekuli Bay Provincial Park, and along various points in Lake Country near the Okanagan Rail Trail, providing easy entry for paddlers throughout the region. The purpose of the Paddle Trail on Kalamalka Lake is to provide additional recreational amenities to the public, promote safety by encouraging non-motorized watercraft to stay close to the shoreline, reduce conflicts between motorized and non-motorized water vessels, and to help encourage motorized boat use away from the shoreline and reduce wake/erosion.
