Lardeau Way - Alvaston Place to Heritage Drive

The project replaces 39 services and 430 metres of a 1975 150mm diameter ductile iron water
main. This section of water main was identified as a high-priority water main replacement project
based on the calculated risk using RiLCAMP (Greater Vernon Water risk tool). The water mains are approximately 48 years old located in a highly corrosive area of soil (detrimental to metallic materials), with 10 water main breaks in the past 20 years (four (4) since 2022).
