Update: The repairs have been completed and water service restored.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) – Delcliffe Water Utility (DWU) advises customers that operations will be repairing the discharge header on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
During this time period, there will be no water service to your property. Please take the necessary measures to ensure that you have enough water for your household needs during this time. Fill water jugs the day before, and ensure there is enough drinking water for yourself, your family and your animals. Customers should turn off their main water shut off valve until the water has been restored.
Customers in affected areas are receiving hand delivered letters informing them of this disruption. Please see attached map to view the affected area.
When the water service has been restored, you may experience some cloudiness and/or air in the water. Please run a cold water tap, at low volume until the water has cleared.
