Greater Vernon Water is replacing a 100 year old cast iron water main on 37 street from 25 to 27 Avenue. The water main has reached the end of its expected life and without replacement could eventually fail requiring costly emergency repairs. Construction is planned to begin in July for a duration of approximately six weeks. During this time there will be traffic disruptions and local residents will be kept informed by the District’s representatives.
