Pursuant to Section 286 of the Local Government Act, the Regional District of North Okanagan Board of Directors is providing notice of intent to transfer to the City of Vernon a portion of the properties legally described as Lot 4, Section 2, Township 8, Osoyoos Division Yale District, Plan KAP3501, Except Plan KAP37185; PID: 004-865-120 and Lot 5, Section 2, Township 8, Osoyoos Division Yale District, Plan KAP3501 as shown outlined in the map below.
The transfer of this property is for the purposes of widening the legal boundaries of Mutrie Road to meet the City of Vernon bylaw standard. The proposed dedication is up to 3.58 metres (11.75’) deep along 188.26 m2 (2,026 sf) of frontage. The title transfer is proposed to take effect immediately upon completion of all necessary documents. The transfer of this property will be completed in consideration with fair market value.
