REGIONAL DISTRICT OF NORTH OKANAGAN – PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Regional District of North Okanagan will consider giving First Reading to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2922, 2021 at their Regular Meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2922, 2021 proposes to change the zoning of the property legally described as Parcel A (DD 149241F) of Lot 1, Sec 14, Twp 8, ODYD, Plan 3484, Except Plan 19762 and located at 6295 Pleasant Valley Road Electoral Area “B” on Schedule “A” of the Regional District of North Okanagan Zoning Bylaw No. 1888 from the Residential Single Family (R.1) zone to the Light Industrial (I.1) zone.  If successful in rezoning the property as proposed, the owner plans to use the property for the sale of building supplies, with associated storage, administration and owner/operator accommodation. 

A Public Hearing for this Bylaw is not required as the Bylaw is consistent with the Electoral Areas “B” & “C” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2626.
