The RDNO is currently in the process of updating the Developer Cost Charges (DCC) Bylaws for various service areas including Greater Vernon Water, White Valley Parks & Recreation, Electoral Area B & C Local Parks, and Electoral Area F Parks.
The updated bylaw for Greater Vernon Water expects to be sent to the Board of Directors for first reading in September 2024, with the bylaws for the Parks and Recreation services expected in March 2025. A recommendation that a public consultation process be completed after first reading is given will be included, and if adopted it will be advertised through the RDNO newsletter subscribers for each service, the RDNO Facebook Page, this web page, and the local paper.
