Why is this notice in place?

A water service break on Silver Star Road on November 8, 2024 needs a repair which requires the water main to be shut off.  The water system in this area will experience a loss of positive pressure.

The water service break is scheduled to be repaired November 12, 2024. When the water service has been restored to your property, please run a cold water tap, preferably an outside tap, at low volume until the water has cleared. You may experience some cloudiness and/or air in the water.

What should affected customers do?

Until the WQA is rescinded, young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems should exercise caution and all customers may choose to boil their water for at least one minute when using for the following purposes:

  • drinking
  • brushing teeth
  • washing fruits & vegetables to be eaten raw
  • preparing any food
  • mixing baby formula
  • making beverages or ice
