**Deadline for comments has been extended to January 7, 2022 due to potential delays with Canada Post**
Silver Star Club Resort Ltd c/o Russell Haubrich have submitted an application which requests the approval of the Board of Directors of the Regional District of North Okanagan to convert a previously occupied building on the above described property into 28 strata lots. The Board of Directors considered this application at their Regular Meeting held on September 22, 2021. After considering the application, the Board passed the following resolution:
That the application for a proposed 28 unit strata conversion of a previously occupied building under Section 242 of the Strata Property Act for the property legally described as Lot B, DL 1355, ODYD, Plan KAP70786 and located at 148 Silver Lode Lane, Electoral Area "C" not be supported unless and until:
- a Development Variance Permit to vary the requirements of the Silver Star Zoning Bylaw related to the number and size of off-street parking and loading spaces has been approved for the reduced amount of existing parking supplied on-site;
- the registered leaseholders have been notified about the Strata Subdivision application and given opportunity to express their comments or concerns to the Regional District;
- the Mountain Resort Branch of the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development has been notified about the Strata Subdivision application and given opportunity to express their comments or concerns to the Regional District;
- the affected landowners of the adjacent properties, including Strata subdivision KAS3027 (Snowbird Lodge) and Strata subdivision KAS1259 (Cabin Colony) have been notified about the Strata Subdivision application and given opportunity to express their comments or concerns to the Regional District.

Comments will be accepted until December 17, 2021.
