UPDATE:
Due to time constraints, the project to clean the Upper Level reservoir located east of Walker Road has been delayed to after the May long weekend of May 19 to 21, 2018.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) has found existing valves near the reservoir are not operating properly. These will have to be replaced before the reservoir can be drained for cleaning, and this has increased the amount of time required to complete the project.
The water system is now operating normally, and is set to operate at regular capacity through the long weekend until the cleaning project can resume on May 22, 2018.
