This service was started in 1993 to provide street lighting for the community of Grindrod in Electoral Area F. It involves the planning and arrangement of additional leased street lights as well as arranging for the repair and maintenance of existing leased street lights. Additional lights are approved by the Electoral Area Director and BC Hydro and installed by BC Hydro at an extra cost, and repairs are provided by BC Hydro at a cost included in the lease rate.
