We are continuing to monitor the evolving wildfire situation closely and are doing some pre-planning should we need to act quickly.

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO), in conjunction with Interior Health, advises that the Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on August 18, 2023 to customers supplied by the Grindrod Water Utility has been RESCINDED.&nbs

No outdoor watering is in effect starting today, August 3, 2023 until August 8, 2023, for all customers on the Mabel Lake Water (MLW) system due to water system capacity concerns during this coming long weekend.

The Government of BC has issued a Level 5 Drought for the Bessette Creek watershed under the Water Sustainability Act.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued on July 22, 2023 to customers supplied by the Grindrod Water Utility has been RESCINDED.

Mabel Lake Water - Water Quality Advisory (WQA) issued on June 22, 2023 is now RESCINDED.

The Grindrod Water (GRW) Treatment Plant is operating at full capacity.

No outdoor watering is in effect starting  June 29, 2023 until July 4, 2023.  For more information, click here
