Notice is hereby given that a Delegated Public Hearing covering Electoral Areas “D” and “E” Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3011, 2024 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3012, 2024 will be held in the Board Room of the Regional District of North Okanagan at 9848 Aberdeen Road, Coldstream, BC on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3011 proposes to amend the Electoral Areas “D” and “E” Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 2485, 2011 by changing the land use designation of a portion of the property legally described as Lot A, DL 24, ODYD, Plan 41148 and located at 5280 Highway 6, Electoral Area “D” from Non-Urban to Industrial. Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3012 proposes to rezone the same portion of the property from the Non-Urban (N.U) zone to the General Industrial (I.2) zone. If approved, the applicant proposes to construct a service and repair facility on the property to be used for the applicant as part of their gravel operation. The applicant also proposes to have up to nine areas that would be rented to other businesses for industrial purposes.
